HOUSTON, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Torchlight Energy Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TRCH) has announced that effective March 3, 2011, Mr. Greg Williams has been added to the Board.
Mr. Williams has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. A brief excerpt of his Bio follows.
- Gregory P. Williams is presently the Chief Financial Officer for Oxane Materials, Inc. in Houston, Texas. Oxane is a start-up company in the Oil & Gas E&P industry making high strength, light weight proppant used in hydraulic fracturing.
- Mr. Williams retired in 2009 from Ineos/Innovene/bp/Amoco after 32 years of financial management experience. Mr. Williams has over 10 years of Petrochemicals experience as the former CFO for Ineos Olefins & Polymers North America including financial stewardship and corporate governance for all Ineos North American businesses and as the bp Chemicals Segment North American Controller.
- He has 22 years of exploration and production experience both in the US and internationally including expatriate assignments in Africa and South America.
- Mr. Williams has a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University and an MIM from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), in Phoenix, Arizona.
