Time Out North America Appoints Terri White Editor In Chief, Time Out New York
Former Life & Style, Shortlist Editor To Oversee Multi-Platform Content Strategy Across New York Media Marketplace
NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Time Out, the global multi-platform media company and leading provider of inspiration, recommendations and information in more than 35 major cities throughout the world, today announced Terri White as Editor In Chief for Time Out New York.
White, formerly the Executive Editor for Life & Style Weekly, will oversee the editorial direction and content for all of Time Out New York's media platforms, including digital, mobile and print. White will report to Time Out North America President Jennifer Morgan.

White is a multi-award winning editor who has more than 13 years' experience working for major publishing brands across both print and digital media. Prior to serving as Executive Editor of Life & Style Weekly in New York, White was editor of Europe's leading men's title, ShortList, the first female editor of a British men's magazine in more than a decade. She was also Editor of Buzz, the entertainment title published with Britain's biggest newspaper, The Sun, and Deputy Editor of Maxim, and has written for Cosmopolitan, Elle, Grazia and The Observer magazine.
White has also worked on digital product development and launches for five major consumer print titles, including Look Magazine, Britain's best-selling fashion magazine, and the former News International, a leading British newspaper publisher.

White received her BA, with Honors, in English Literature from the University of Leicester. She was named New Editor of the Year in 2010 by the Periodical Training Council; Men's Magazine Editor of the Year in 2009 by the British Society of Magazine Editors; and Young Journalist of the Year by the IPC Media Awards.
