Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center Names Hariclia Hristea, MD as Staff Psychiatrist

CHICAGO, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center today announced Hariclia Hristea, MD, has been named a new staff psychiatrist. Dr. Hristea brings a wealth of experience in working in women's mental health, including addiction psychiatry, individual and group psychotherapy, sexual dysfunctions and the integration of various treatment modalities.

Dr. Hristea obtained her medical degree at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed her psychiatry residency at the Rush University Medical Center. In addition, she graduated from the adult psychotherapy and fellowship programs at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. She also has training in the treatment of sexual dysfunction from Loyola University in Chicago.

Dr. Hristea joins numerous other clinical staff members at Timberline Knolls, including a team of psychiatrists; primary, family and expressive therapists; dietitians and eating disorder specialists; addictions specialists; nurses and behavioral health specialists; admissions counselors and more.
