THOR-LVX, Valley Forge Composite Technologies' Explosive Detection System, To Be Presented at RUPAC 2010
COVINGTON, Ky., May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The particle accelerator complex utilized in Valley Forge Composite Technologies' (OTC Bulletin Board: VLYF) THOR-LVX™ Explosive Detection System will be presented at RUPAC 2010. This accelerator enables THOR-LVX to perform molecular level scans of sealed containers including cargo containers in seaports and airports.
The presentation on THOR-LVX is entitled: 55 MeV Special Purpose Race-Track Microtron Commissioning. It was submitted by Alexander Karev of The Russian Academy of Sciences P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute. Co-authors include Valley Forge Composite Technologies Vice-President Larry Wilhide and CEO Louis Brothers.
