Thomson Reuters Goes Green for Earth Day

In New York, Thomson Reuters is using its own giant screens in Times Square to promote Earth Day and help raise awareness of environmental issues. The screens broadcasted live the Earth Day celebrations on April 22 featuring Mayor Bloomberg, Al Gore and UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon.
To coincide with Earth Day, 28 Thomson Reuters offices from every corner of the globe are hosting dedicated employee-led "Green Week" activities including:
- River Thames clean-up – London
- Native tree planting – Spain and Italy
- Wild flower planting – Eagan, Minnesota
- Beach clean-up – Stamford, Connecticut
- World Wildlife Fund Low-carbon Office Operation Programme – Hong Kong
- Bushland restoration – Sydney, Australia
