The new release of intellectual asset management software integrates with Documentum® and Interwoven® for improved functionality
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomson IP Management Services, a part of Thomson Reuters, today released Thomson IP Manager 3.1, an enterprise-scalable software application for intellectual asset management. The new release has deep integration to external document management systems for improved collaboration, data sharing and decision making. Thomson IP Manager helps companies more effectively manage their intellectual assets, automating the tracking of innovations, patents, trademarks, designs, licensing agreements and more.

Thomson IP Manager brings together the necessary components for IP management in a centralized repository, integrating portfolio data, work flow task management and LDAP synchronization with corporate user data. With the release of version 3.1, users are able to pull information from their document management system directly into their portfolio management program and easily share it with decision makers throughout the organization. The new release offers full integration with Documentum and Interwoven, two document management systems commonly used by Thomson IP Management Services customers.
The new release features several other system enhancements, including the ability to quickly propagate updates to large sets of records and to configure data entry forms so they are more user friendly and efficient.
