The Totem story line focuses on bizarre events in the tiny mountain community of Potter's Field, Wyoming. Cattle are being mutilated, animals become savage and children seem possessed. Townspeople are found without faces. Sheriff Nathan Slaughter, an ex Detroit cop, and a young magazine reporter, Christine Dunlap, must confront the evil behind the hideous events, an evil that is all too human and deadly.
Morrell is best known for his work with First Blood. It spawned the Rambo film franchise starring Sylvester Stallone. Morrell has written more than 30 books and has 18 million copies in print, including his latest project released this past spring titled Murder as a Fine Art. The book is getting rave reviews…. Stephen King calls it "A thriller fan's dream."
