The National Society of Hispanic MBAs Will Host The Final Round of Presentations for its Case Competition Sponsored by PepsiCo
IRVING, Texas, Aug. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) announced the student team finalists for the Case Competition sponsored by PepsiCo. The final presentations will take place at the NSHMBA Annual Conference and Career Expo October 10-12, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. The three frontrunners presenting are:
1. Chapman University
- Business School - Argyros School of Business and Economics
- Team Name - Pepsi Panthers
- Team Members - Isaac Rosales, Fatu Siede Coleman, David Ferialdi, Yvette Valencia
2. The College of William and Mary
- Business School - Mason School of Business
- Team Name - Nikao
- Team Members - Maybelline Mendoza, Nicholas Skantz, Hanyan Wu, Raviteja Yelamanchili
3. Pepperdine University
- Business School - Graziadio School of Business and Management
- Team Name - Hispanic Heritage
- Team Members - Jeffry Fein, Paul Betancourt, Maria Valencia, Jorge Arreola, Roberto Beckmann
All of the participating finalists will be provided travel and accommodations. The winners will be selected at the conference and rewarded with $3,000 in scholarships and prizes; and all will attend a special reception and dinner. Twenty three teams from seventeen different universities submitted proposals: Hult International Business School, Chapman University, Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, University of California- Davis, Florida State University, Boston College, Pepperdine University, University of Houston, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Texas at Dallas, Purdue University, Harvard University, Marquette University, University of Massachusetts, Rutgers University, The College of William and Mary, and Duke University.
The Student Business Case Competition is a unique event designed to give high-powered MBA student teams an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities in a formal competition. Teams are judged on their analysis of the case, the feasibility of their recommendations and the quality of their presentations.
