The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and The National Breast Cancer Foundation Partner to Save Women's Lives

SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In an announcement today by the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (www.NHCLC.org), also known as the Hispanic Evangelical Association, the nation's largest Christian Hispanic organization, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF) will serve as the Senior Partner of the NHCLC's Healthy Families Directive -- partnering to save women's lives.

The NHCLC has designated the first Sunday of October as National Hispanic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and they are collaborating with NBCF to launch a volunteer program that will mobilize Hispanic churches to save lives through early detection of breast cancer.
