The Entire High-Bright, Direct Sunlight Display Industry for Pro Cameras has just been Disrupted
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cypher Scientific in Southern California, started 4 years ago by a group of former RED Digital Cinema engineers, just announced the release of a game changer for anyone shooting outdoors on professional cinema, TV or high-end camera gear. SunScreen CinePro, a direct sunlight viewable display system, debuted today at an unprecedented low price point of $395 for limited first release, which is sending shock waves through the professional display industry.
The SunScreen CinePro has up to 1500 NITS of brightness, AR Glass, High Contrast, HDMI in, and SDI in & out. It has ¼-20 mounts on every side so that it can be mounted on virtually any rig. The rugged display also features a 2-pin Lemo connector, which accepts a wide range of power from 5 volts to 17 volts.
Robert Rose, Managing Director of SunScreen Display Technologies, says, "There is nothing even close to this unit out there in features and performance at this price point. The pro camera world has a few high bright displays available that range from $1200 to over $4000. CinePro carries a list price of $495, which makes true outdoor bright sunshine viewing of the shot affordable for everyone in the industry at every level, not just A-list camera deployments. We designed this display for use with RED, Arri, Cannon, Sony, Black Magic and virtually any other camera in use today."
The SunScreen CinePro is being offered through their world-wide distributer, CineSauce, at https://cinesauce.com/collections/displays.
