The DEP Launches Web Directory to Promote Thai Products Worldwide

BANGKOK, May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of Commerce is ready to launch a new website under the "Industrial PR Online Marketing" project from February 2010. To boost up Thailand's exports, the project is inviting Thai exporters in all industries to promote their goods and services through the online marketplace on the website to create opportunities and approach channel expansion to worldwide business investors and importers.

The new website ThaiExport.ThaiTrade.com is aimed at adding new channels to promote Thai products' sale in the worldwide market via the internet and pulsing interests of oversea Thai product importers. The website will function as the database for visitors, to be easily reached for information about Thailand's goods and services in 10 major industries, including Thai exporters' profiles and updated news and business information. Moreover, visitors can share information which they are interested in with the most famous online social networks on Facebook and Twitter, etc. This is to enhance the competitiveness of Thai exporters and trade opportunities in the future.

The webpage is well-designed to support 3 targets, which are general visitors, Thai exporters and international investors/importers. All users can rely on the searching system to find businesses and products, as well as to explore trade news and updated data with free membership registration as a plus. Additionally, Thai exporters who are website member users can generate, add or edit their product's information and company profiles by themselves. What's more?
