FALLS CHURCH, Va., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CSRA Inc. (NYSE: CSRA) received the Enterprise Service Operations Center (ESOC) task order award from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under the Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise contract. The award is valued at $166.9 million and has a one-year base period and four and a half option years.
As part of the program, CSRA will manage the ESOC – which consists of self-help knowledge portals, remote service desk resolution support and in-field customer engagement support – for the Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems global customers. CSRA will also consolidate and standardize remote and in-field customer support at the enterprise level.
"DIA's critically important mission to produce, analyze and disseminate military intelligence information means that they require a dependable IT support system and efficient service," said Leigh Palmer, CSRA executive vice president, Intelligence Group. "Leveraging more than 50 years of enterprise IT experience, and an outstanding team with significant know-how, we will serve as the first point of contact to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively and empower our customers to seek solutions via self-help knowledge portals."
The work under the contract will be performed at various CSRA and government locations worldwide, including the company's new Integrated Technology Center (ITC) in Bossier City, Louisiana. The ITC is a 96,000 square foot, state-of-the-art IT delivery center with the capability to extend across various projects. The ITC is anticipated to open in fall 2016.
