CHICAGO, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ ----The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) has selected Dr. Manika Turnbull and Dr. Marie Hansen, TCSPP alumni and leaders in their respective fields, to join its Board of Trustees. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) Chief of Staff Dr. Manika Turnbull is a 2015 Leadership Greater Chicago fellow, and earned both her masters in Industrial /Organizational Psychology and her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School.
"Besides her enthusiasm for, and obvious belief in The Chicago School, the skills Dr. Turnbull brings to bear in her position as chief of staff at the largest health insurance company in Illinois – leadership, strategic thinking and planning, and effective communications – will be of tremendous benefit to our Board of Trustees and our institution," said TCSPP President Michele Nealon-Woods, Psy.D. "Dr. Hansen's success within her careers, and the selection itself of those careers, make her an excellent choice for our Board," said Dr. Nealon-Woods. "As a dean and a practicing attorney, she is a logical thinker who pays attention to detail. Dr. Hansen has an innate curiosity and desire to learn that compel her to keep challenging herself, and I'm excited to work with her. She has shown her commitment to the success of The Chicago School by accepting Board membership, and she brings valuable academic and business acumen to the table."
Dr. Turnbull has been with BCBSIL for more than nine years. Prior to her current role as chief of staff, she served as the company's Strategic Human Resources Business partner, and in their Service Delivery Operations division as operations manager.
