The Chester Fund for Education and the Arts Announces the Appointment of Wendy Leslie as New VP, Development
CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 11, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chester Fund for Education and the Arts announced today the appointment of Wendy Leslie as Vice President, Development. Ms. Leslie works with key donors, foundations, corporations and the board of trustees, to raise funds to support The Chester Upland School of the Arts.
Using an effective and innovative approach, The Chester Fund for Education and the Arts has joined with the public school district in Chester, PA to create a public-private partnership model. The full public school, the Chester Upland School of the Arts (CUSA), incorporates the arts into a rigorous and comprehensive academic education, bringing expectations of excellence to underserved students.

She built a single-state nonprofit organization to national scope, and has developed national programs that annually delivered over $20 million of new business for each of three publicly traded companies.
