The CementBloc's new happiness app, : ) fuel ™, raises the Gross National Happiness Quotient at Internet Week
NEW YORK, May 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The CementBloc showcased its new happiness app by hosting a literal "Happy" Hour experiential event at Union Square Ballroom on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
: ) fuel ™ (pronounced happy fuel), is a social application that fuels and pays happiness forward. It gives users a mobile place to store and share the things that fuel their happy, whether it's a song, photo, video, place, sound, or thought. And while the user is sharing happiness, : ) fuel even lets them gauge their own happiness.
At the Internet Week event, guests experienced the : ) fuel ™ app in action by uploading, gauging, and sharing the things that fuel their happiness. They also filled up on happy drinks, snacks, and even massages. : ) giveaways included buttons, t-shirts, and confetti poppers.
Upon entering the event space, guests were greeted by "Happy Ambassadors" who introduced them to the : ) fuel ™ app. They experienced the : ) fuel ™ app's capabilities in real time, as sample content was uploaded and projected onto flat screen monitors throughout the room. Guests downloaded their own : ) fuel ™ apps via the Apple App store. Mirroring one of the standout features of : ) fuel ™, a large scale "interactive happiness gauge" was displayed on a wall, projecting the happiness temperature—from "regular" to "plus" to "premium"—throughout the evening.
