The 2010 OC Fair Presents the Maloof Money Cup Skateboarding Championships (August 4-8)

COSTA MESA, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Maloof Money Cup skateboarding event will return to the OC Fair's Action Sports Arena and will include several events such as the Legends of Skateboarding on August 4; All Comers Contest on August 5; two days of Pro Skateboarding Prelims on August 6 and 7; and the spellbinding Pro Skateboarding Finals on August 8. Tickets range from free-with-Fair-admission to $20 (includes Fair admission). Also on sale in the Action Sports Arena are reserved seats for the Orange County Police Canine Show on Sunday, July 18. Tickets are $12.50 and include free Fair admission.

Also on sale are tickets for shows in The Hangar, OC Fair's newest entertainment complex. The shows on sale this week are: The Grascals, Wednesday, August 11; Colin Hay of Men At Work, Thursday, August 12; Gary Hoey, Friday, August 13; and Lucha Libre with El Hijo del Santo and Blue Demon, Saturday, August 14, and Sunday, August 15. Tickets for seats to the Grascals, Colin Hay and Lucha Libre are $15 and tickets for Gary Hoey are $12.50. All tickets include free Fair admission.

And, by popular demand, the OC Fair and Pacific Amphitheatre have added a second show for Adam Lambert/Orianthi on Tuesday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this show begin at $19.50 and there will be parking and concessions available onsite. The OC Fair is closed on Tuesdays and ticket holders for the July 27 show will be able to use their tickets to gain admission to experience the Fair on another day after the concert.

The OC Fair & Event Center Box Office is open Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Pacific Amphitheatre gates open 60 minutes before show time. Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic and parking delays. The remaining concerts at the Pacific Amphitheatre will be announced in the coming weeks. Sign up for pre-sale emails at ocfair.com.

The 2010 OC Fair, themed The Beat Goes On, runs July 16 – August 15 and will bring 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music and fun, as well as the popular Super Pass, Pacific Amphitheatre Summer Concert Series, Action Sports Arena and the new entertainment venue, The Hangar. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday.
