Back in December, Primelocation.com launched its very first Blog Awards, to celebrate the writing and recognise the talent of the very best property bloggers around. We asked for nominations, and they came in their droves. Then we asked for votes, and they came in their thousands.

Now, nominations in, votes counted, and hours of hard deliberation done, the results can be revealed.

And so, without further ado, the winners of the 2009 Primelocation.com Property Blog Awards are...

Winner of the best blog category:

*A Little Drop of Cognac*

It was a closely fought battle, but A Little Drop of Cognac's Graham Downie has emerged victorious with the top prize.

Winner of the best blog post category:

*Agent's Diary: Love Actually - Wednesday*

The disillusioned undercover agent scooped the best post prize because of his topical content and clever turn of phrase.

Winner of the best newcomer category:

*The House Historian*

The blog from Chesterton Humberts' in-house historian claimed the Best Newcomer crown, thanks to its unique and original content.

Winner of the users' favourite blog category:

*Renter Girl*

Over 5,000 votes were cast, and 35 per cent of them went to Renter Girl, making her your favourite property blogger of 2009.
