Texas Water Well Industry Veteran Kyle Courtney Announces Wellstar Groundwater Technologies
New company will focus on leveraging technology to preserve groundwater.
SAN ANTONIO and BOERNE, Texas, June 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kyle Courtney, groundwater industry expert and current owner of C&C Groundwater Services, has announced the formation of Wellstar Groundwater Technologies. The new company will focus on innovative ways to protect and preserve groundwater, the world's second most important resource.
Courtney's vision for the company is to have it serve as a conduit for innovation within the groundwater industry. "Of all the fresh water on Earth only 1 percent is available for our use, and 99 percent of that 1 percent comes from groundwater," said Kyle Courtney. "There are some exciting ways we can leverage technology to preserve groundwater and we plan to announce more details on that later this year," said Courtney.
Kyle Courtney has been in the business of drilling water wells in Texas for over 30 years. As a licensed driller and pump installer, he has drilled over 600 wells in the region. Over the last five years he has worked with regulatory bodies along with some of the most prominent groundwater monitoring scientists in the country to study the science of groundwater in Texas.
Courtney has worked with several municipalities as well as Fortune 500 companies including Cemex and Vulcan Materials, among others. He has been either directly or indirectly involved with the most technical projects in Texas relating to well yield studies and Aquifer Storage and Recovery systems.
