Texas Rare Earth Resources Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
Wm. Chris Mathers brings Financial and Managerial Experience
TYLER, Texas, Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Texas Rare Earth Resources Corp. (Pink Sheets: SDSR) announced today that Wm. Chris Mathers, CPA will serve as the Company's new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Mathers is a senior executive with more than 15 years of public company experience in manufacturing and chemical processing as well as experience in commercial construction. Mr. Mathers will oversee Texas Rare Earth Resources' financial management and public company reporting processes.

Mr. Mathers' experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer of InterSystems, Inc. (AMEX:"II"), a manufacturing company in the agriculture and chemicals processing industry. Additionally, Mr. Mathers served for two years as a consultant for a former NYSE company's Sarbanes-Oxley 404 project. Mr. Mathers has also served as CFO consultant for companies pursuing equity and debt financing in the public and private markets. He began his career with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse in Houston, Texas.
