Terra Systems, Inc., Utah State University and Nucor Corp. to Begin Clean Coke Testing

HELPER, Utah, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Terra Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets: TSYI) announced that it has received a grant from Utah State University Energy Dynamics Laboratory to fund the start up of its clean coke testing facility.  Terra Systems has received a purchase order form Nucor Corporation Inc. (NYSE: NUE) to produce a pilot run to be tested at the Nucor facility in Plymouth, Utah.  The grant was awarded after successful bench scale testing in a commercial manufacturing application.

Dr. Robert Behunin, Special Assistant to the Utah State University President stated: "Terra Systems, Utah State University Energy Dynamics Laboratory and Nucor Corporation are pleased to announce the next phase of their ongoing partnership.  In an effort to continue research and development on clean coal technologies and in an effort to find new and innovative ways to enhance local economic and educational development on Utah State University's College of Eastern Utah Campus, Terra Systems, Utah State University and Nucor have entered into an agreement to produce charge carbon as a demonstration scale test.  The carbon product will be generated at the Terra Systems facility located in Helper, UT and the product will be shipped to Nucor's facility in Plymouth, UT for testing."

In addition, Terra has upgraded to Current Information status on the Pink OTC Markets.  This will enable Terra to provide timely financial information to shareholders.
