Telesoft Solves 100Gbit/s Network Recording Challenge for Ultra-scale Data Centers
BOURNEMOUTH, England, November 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Telesoft Technologies (http://telesoft-technologies.com/, a market leading provider of network monitoring and packet capture solutions, today announced the launch of the Extractor 100G, a high performance, flexible data extraction and recording tool.
The Extractor 100G is capable of analyzing 100% of network traffic at speeds of up to 100Gbps by intelligently classifying and recording only the packets of interest. The system leverages Telesoft's market leading hardware acceleration capabilities to apply up to 80,000 signatures to every packet, allowing users to go well beyond traditional recording criteria that is based solely upon network layer information. Deploying context based rules such as keywords, patterns or signatures to the payload of every packet dramatically reduces storage requirements and significantly improves search and retrieval times for the end-user.
As traffic-rates continue to rise to an all-time high, generating Petabytes of data every day, the Extractor 100G has been designed specifically to meet the needs of several use-cases including security incident response and network troubleshooting, reliably delivering information to existing tools within operations centers.
Phil Lewis, Managing Director of Telesoft Technologies commented, "The importance of network visibility has never been so high, organisations are focused on delivering not only cost effective but 'useable' solutions that aid in the rapid response to problems. Prior to the Telesoft Extractor 100G, firms were tied to expensive 'always on' solutions that were slow to respond given their lack of context."
Telesoft's Extractor 100G will soon be linked to the company's latest product the 100G IPFIX Probe which will deliver unparalleled Netflow/IPFIX generation capabilities at speeds of 100Gbps.
