Technology-Based Merchant Services Provider Century Business Solutions will be Featured at Exact Evolve 2015

IRVINE, Calif., April 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Technology-based payment processor Century Business Solutions is pleased to announce its attendance at the Exact Macola Evolve Customer Conference.  The conference, which will take place in Boca Raton, FL from May 11-14, will give all Exact Macola customers and partners a chance to exchange information, participate in interactive business labs, and see a handful of keynote speakers, including Executive Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce David Chavern, and former Major League Baseball Pitcher and Motivational Speaker Jim Abbott.

Century's place at the conference is a little different than most, though.  The Century team, who will appear at the conference for the second year in a row, has worked together with The Attivo Group, one of the leading Exact resellers and consultancy groups, to develop a credit card processing solution that integrates seamlessly into Exact Macola 10, ES, and Progression.  As Century is the only credit card processor offering an integrated payment solution for Exact Macola, representatives from the company view this conference as an even-better-than-usual opportunity for exposure and marketing.  "Many business owners either aren't aware of or don't understand the benefits of using a credit card processing system inside Exact Macola, so this four-day meeting will be a great opportunity to connect with people and show them exactly how this works," said Scott King, VP of Sales for Century Business Solutions.

Aside from not understanding the benefits of integrating payments, some business owners are concerned – and rightfully so – about payment security and PCI compliance given the climate of data breaches lately.  The solution offered by Century is not only PCI compliant, but it also employs offsite tokenization.  This means customer credit card data is always stored offsite and never on Macola users' servers.  As well, the data is scrambled and converted into tokens that can be called upon inside the offsite servers for reuse; in the unlikely event of a data breach, hackers would not have access to any credit card information at all, only meaningless, garbled data.  Tokenization, when applied to credit card information, should help curb fraudulent credit card activity related to data breaches significantly. "We're offering a solution that will not only make people's lives easier, but make their customers' card data much safer," said King.
