TechNet Honors Rep. Michael McCaul as a Top Innovation Leader in U.S. Congress

WASHINGTON, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- TechNet, the bipartisan political network of CEOs that promotes the growth of the innovation economy, announced that Representative Michael McCaul (R-Texas) has won its annual Founders Circle Award, one of four members of Congress recognized by the organization for their outstanding leadership to champion the nation's innovation economy.

Representative McCaul was chosen by TechNet's member companies for his support of the organization's innovation policy agenda during the past year.  By tradition, the winners of the award include one member of each political party in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. Rep. McCaul is co-founder and chair of the Bipartisan House High Tech Task Force and ranking member of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing and Terrorist Assessment.  During his career, Rep.
