TaraVista Behavioral Health Center Up and Running on the OpenVista InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Management System

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., March 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Stockell Healthcare Systems is pleased to announce that, as part of a formalized relationship with Medsphere Systems Corporation, TaraVista Behavioral Health Center in Devens, Massachusetts is fully operational on its OpenVista InsightCS® revenue cycle management solutions.

The inpatient mental health facility is utilizing the system's suite of Enterprise Patient Registration, Scheduling, Payer Eligibility Checking, Document Management and Forms Generation, Patient Accounting and Billing, Insurance Follow-up and A/R Collections, Claims Management, Contract Management, Denial Tracking, ERA processing and Reporting applications to control costs, accelerate revenue collection, and deliver exceptional patient and provider service. 

The system is being used along with Medsphere's OpenVista electronic health record (EHR), a comprehensive suite of clinical support applications that enables improved patient care and more efficient clinician workflow.  As a result, the hospital is gaining a fully interoperable, meaningful-use certified enterprise health IT platform.

About TaraVista Behavioral Health Center

Opened for admissions in November of 2016, TaraVista is a 108-bed mental health facility that features an initial Care Access Unit (CAU) to welcome and initiate treatment for newly admitted patients plus four primary care units. 

Two of these primary care units serve patients 18 years of age or older experiencing a primary mental or emotional health issue.  Another primary care unit serves adult patients with secondary substance abuse disorders, including the need for detoxification.  The final primary care unit serves older adolescent/young adult patients between the ages of 16 and 25 who are experiencing a mental health crisis with or without a co-occuring substance abuse issue.
