Through the agreement, DirectFED Deposit™, Skyline's DirectFED's cutting-edge remote-deposit-capture software, has been leveraged to create Pronto, a solution that enables banks, credit unions and retailers to immediately and simply process checks with the Federal Reserve System. As a result of the increased speed and efficiency of check processing realized through Skyline's DirectFED Deposit™, financial institutions and retailers will realize high performing operational advantages and cost-savings than those typically associated with check-processing solutions.
"In seeking a partner on Pronto, Talaris strived to incorporate software that supports our dedication to maximizing customers' efficiency and helping improve their bottom line," said Chris Reagan, president of Talaris North America. "Like Talaris, Skyline's DirectFED values its ability to make a tangible impact on customers, so we're thrilled to offer substantial check-processing benefits via Pronto."
"We had several candidates to choose from but selected Skyline's DirectFED from a host of competitors due to its extremely customizable and flexible features, as well as its easy and fast installation, that no one else was able to provide," added Reagan.
Talaris unveiled Pronto, its first Check 21 solution that is powered by DirectFED Deposit™, at Banking Automation Institute's Retail Delivery Conference in November 2009. Pronto features a simplistic design and "plug-and-play" set-up process that enables financial institutions and retail locations to install the solution in just a few hours, thereby realizing the cost-saving benefits of Check 21 within two days.
"Pronto was custom-designed to address Talaris' specific objective to offer customers fast and easy benefits of Check 21 without financial burden, technology integrations and additional hardware," said Jeff Korbin, executive vice president of Skyline's DirectFED Payment Solutions. "We're pleased to collaborate with a company that's equally committed to pioneering remote deposit capture solutions designed specifically for financial institutions and retailers."
