Tadiran Telecom Announces Availability of Aeonix UC&C Platform as a Hybrid Cloud Solution
Aeonix cloud architecture enables 'Bring Your Own Cloud' approach to reduce costs and guarantee full redundancy
PETACH TIKVA, Israel, March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Tadiran Telecom, a global provider of Unified Communications & Collaboration (UC&C), Contact Center, and Control Room solutions, has announced that its Aeonix platform will be available on the Amazon Web Services (AWS), as part of The Company's new 'Bring Your Own Cloud' approach. The Aeonix Hybrid Cloud solution enables businesses to take advantage of the cost reductions inherent in cloud-based deployments, while simultaneously delivering security, business continuity and ease of installation.
Tadiran's 'Bring Your Own Cloud' approach enables businesses of any size to choose a cloud provider for Aeonix installation. AWS was selected to be the first Cloud Service Provider (CSP) to run Aeonix. While many cloud telephony solutions are based on the provider's own infrastructure, Tadiran's 'Bring Your Own Cloud' approach will offer the flexibility of choosing the most suitable cloud provider.
The Aeonix Hybrid Cloud solution enables customers to benefit from cost savings, scalability and ease of implementation and maintenance. Infrastructure costs are significantly reduced for businesses with multiple offices because the cloud offers increased global reach. With fewer dedicated data circuits installed, the Aeonix Hybrid Cloud solution minimizes operational and capital costs for users.
With the Aeonix Hybrid Cloud solution, Tadiran brings the benefits of cloud telephony to its customers. In addition to offering Aeonix on AWS as a private cloud solution, Tadiran can also install Aeonix servers at one or more on premise sites to guarantee local survivability in case of ISP connectivity failure. In such a scenario, the local solution remains operational, ensuring full redundancy.
Since the cloud is easily and infinitely scalable, enterprises are able to buy additional cloud resources to add more servers, sites or users as required. In addition, all Tadiran user licenses will be logically pooled throughout the hybrid cluster, allowing customers to buy only what they need. Implementation and maintenance is also greatly improved by a quick installation process, thanks to the fact that no onsite installation or ongoing maintenance is required.
Eldad Barak, President and CEO of Tadiran Telecom, commented, "We are proud to introduce the 'Bring Your Own Cloud' approach, allowing our customers to choose their preferred infrastructure environment. The Aeonix Hybrid Cloud solution provides a best-in-class solution that combines the benefits of Amazon Web Services with Aeonix's enhanced UC&C capabilities."
Tadiran will unveil the Aeonix Hybrid Cloud solution at the forthcoming Enterprise Connect 2014 show (17-20 March, Orlando, Fl.), where it will also be exhibiting and demonstrating its latest Aeonix platform.
