BALA CYNWYD, Pa., Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) is pleased to announce the launch of a new private equity effort, Susquehanna Private Capital, LLC (SPC). SPC will be focused on buy outs of middle market companies across a broad spectrum of industries including aerospace, industrials, consumer, healthcare, and business and government services among others throughout the domestic United States. SPC further expands SIG's global private equity efforts which includes Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE) and Susquehanna Asia Investments, LLLP.
Leo Helmers has been appointed as a Managing Director and group head of SPC and will be building a team to a work with him during the course of 2017. Prior to joining SPC, Leo was Managing Partner of LMZ Partners as well as a Managing Director at the Carlyle Group. Earlier in his career, he worked at Trust Company of the West and Hamilton Lane.
