Sunrise's Former COO and Head of European Operations to Depart Organization

MCLEAN, Va., March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. (NYSE: SRZ) today announced that Tiffany Tomasso, the Company's head of European operations, will leave the organization at the end of the month. European operations have been reporting directly to the community operating team in the U.S.

As the Company announced in December 2008, Ms. Tomasso transitioned from her role as chief operating officer to provide closer oversight of Sunrise's UK and Germany operations. Ms. Tomasso joined Sunrise in 1993 and was appointed Sunrise's chief operating officer in 2003.
