SunGard Acquires Mindwell

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- SunGard today announced that it has acquired Swedish financial technology consulting services firm Mindwell.  The acquisition will strengthen SunGard's capital markets expertise in Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands.  The acquisition, the terms of which were not disclosed, is not expected to have a material impact on SunGard's financial results.

Mindwell's strong domain knowledge of capital markets and familiarity with SunGard's Front Arena and other trading and risk management solutions will help SunGard offer a broader range of capital markets financial technology and business consulting services.
