Sullivan is a 17-year industry veteran with experience in the asset management, insurance, and advisor industries and is former editor of Boomer Market Advisor magazine. In his new position, Sullivan will report to James J. "Jamie" Green, Group Editor in Chief of the Advisor Media Group, which includes Investment Advisor and Research magazines and their respective Web sites, as well as WealthManagerWeb.com, BoomerMarketadvisor.com, and AdvisorBiz.com. Green will remain heavily involved in the Advisor Media Group franchise, but will increasingly focus on directing Summit Business Media's ambitious expansion of its digital solutions for investment advisors.
"John is a smart, talented, and versatile editor who with his team will maintain the high editorial standards, lively design, and industry insight that our readers have come to expect from Investment Advisor over the past 30 years," said Green.
Andy Sonnenberg, Group Publisher for the Advisor Media Group, noted that "John is a highly respected voice with deep experience and connections to the advisor industry, so we look forward to seeing how the franchise will further evolve under his leadership."
