Stroz Friedberg Appoints Scott Brown as General Counsel and Secretary

NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Stroz Friedberg LLC, a leading international digital risk management and investigations firm, announced today that Scott Brown has become the company's General Counsel and Secretary.  As head of the firm's global legal team, Mr. Brown will be responsible for all worldwide legal affairs of Stroz Friedberg and its subsidiaries.  Mr. Brown is based in Stroz Friedberg's Boston office.

Before joining Stroz Friedberg, Mr. Brown led the intellectual property and technology group in the Boston office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.  While with Skadden, Mr. Brown focused on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, commercial contracts, and counseling and litigation involving copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, the rights of publicity and privacy and data security. Based initially in New York and later in Boston, Mr. Brown worked both domestically and abroad with a broad spectrum of U.S. and international clients, from growth-stage companies to some of the world's largest corporations, as well as private equity firms and investment banks.

Brown graduated cum laude from Trinity College and with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
