Stoltenberg Future Fund Scholarship Awarded to CIO at Iowa-based Henry County Health Center
Company Supports CIO Continued Education Through Annual CHIME Scholarship
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stoltenberg Consulting, Inc., a leading healthcare information technology consulting firm, announced today that Stephen Stewart, CHCIO, CIO at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant, Iowa., a 25-bed critical access hospital, is the recipient of a $2,000 Stoltenberg Future Fund scholarship.
This scholarship is the fourth awarded from the Stoltenberg Future Fund program since its inception. A total of $50,000 has been pledged by Stoltenberg to the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) Education Foundation over the next 25 years toward secondary education.

The Stoltenberg 25-Year Future Fund Scholarship awards $2,000 scholarships annually to the CHIME Education Foundation to be used for any of CHIME's educational events, including its Healthcare CIO Boot Camp, Fall CIO Forum, CHIME/HIMSS CIO Forum and LEAD Forums. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be CHIME members in good standing, express a need for financial support for continuing education and describe their professional goals in the healthcare IT industry.
