Steve Trevino to Headline Fourth Annual Comedy Show for Autism
Show Scheduled for September 12, 2014 at the Historic Fox Fullerton
FULLERTON, Calif., Aug. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fullerton Cares Autism Foundation announced today that Steve Trevino will headline the fourth annual "Comedy Show for Autism" at the historic Fox Theatre in Fullerton. The event is expected to raise $40,000 in support of autism charities and education programs on September 12; doors will open at 6 PM with the show scheduled to begin at 8 PM. Hosted by George Perez (MTV's Yo Momma!, Payaso Comedy Slam), Trevino (The Late Late Show, BET Comic View) will also be joined by Michael Malone (National Lampoon's Operation Comedy Tour, Detroit International Comedy Festival), Jesus Trejo (Sullivan & Son, Refried Comedy), and Tommy Chunn (Gabriel Iglesias' Stand-up Revolution, Who's Got Jokes?). "We're very excited about this lineup," said Fullerton Cares Founder, Larry Houser. "It's got something for everyone."
Proceeds from the Comedy Show for Autism go to Fullerton Cares Autism Foundation, a nonprofit that supports autism charities and programs in Fullerton schools through organized events. Tickets are $32 for general admission, $42 for comfortable choice, $62 for gallery, $80 for premium (in rows 1-5), and $200 for VIP Orchestra, which includes food, a wine tasting, and the possibility of meeting some surprise special guests.
The 2013 Comedy Show for Autism hosted over 600 guests and raised $20,000 with performances by Fullerton native Brad Williams (FX's Legit, Mind of Mencia), Skyler Stone (FOX's Raising Hope and Waiting), Adam Ray (The Heat, Comedy Central's Workaholics), and Carlos Mencia.
