Sterling Global Operations names David T. Johnson, a former ambassador and National Security Council spokesman, as corporate vice president

LENOIR CITY, Tenn., Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterling Global Operations (SGO) has named Ambassador (retired) David T. Johnson as Vice President for Strategic Development and Washington Operations.

Ambassador Johnson joins Sterling Global Operations after a career in which he held security and diplomatic positions at some of the U.S. government's highest levels. His service includes assignments as U.S. Ambassador to the Organization for Security Cooperation in Europe (OSCE); Charge d' Affaires at America's flagship Embassy in London; White House National Security Council spokesman; U.S. Afghanistan Coordinator; and most recently as Assistant Secretary of State for international anti-crime programs in more than 80 countries.
