SteelCloud Expands its Market with New SteelWorks FLEX+ Appliance Solution for BlackBerry Hosting Service Providers
HERNDON, Va., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SteelCloud, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SCLD), a leading developer of mobility computing appliance solutions today announced SteelWorks® FLEX+, a new appliance solution for BlackBerry® Enterprise Server that expands its offerings to BlackBerry Alliance Members that offer hosted BlackBerry® services.
SteelWorks FLEX+ combines SteelCloud's innovative appliance for BlackBerry Enterprise Server with hosted BlackBerry services. This combined solution allows BlackBerry service providers the flexibility of hosting the BlackBerry server technology at an end-user site, using an easy to install and support appliance, and a straightforward software licensing solution. SteelWorks FLEX+ eliminates upfront software license costs and provides a simple, cost-effective monthly license fee structure. SteelCloud, a BlackBerry Alliance Elite Member, will market SteelWorks FLEX+ to hosters in the 100+ countries where it is authorized to provide the license administration for hosted BlackBerry services.
"SteelWorks FLEX+ was developed based on the interest and requirements of our worldwide BlackBerry hosting partners," said Brian Hajost, SteelCloud's President and CEO. "We can now offer our partners, not only appliances and BlackBerry software, but also the flexibility to implement the technology either on-site or off-site. All parties benefit by expanding the market and creating upfront revenue opportunities from appliance sales and a reliable recurring revenue stream from software licensing."
SteelWorks FLEX+ can be ordered immediately and shipments are scheduled to begin early in the Company's second fiscal quarter.
