Spotlight 29 Casino to Honor Military on Memorial Day, May 31st

COACHELLA, Calif., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Spotlight 29 Casino will be raising a special POW/MIA flag on Memorial Day to honor our nation's Veterans.  The flag, which was created to honor fallen heroes and prisoners of war, will be raised with the American flag outside the Casino.

The flag raising ceremony will take place on Monday, May 31st at 12pm.  Members from the Indio Chapter of the American Legion will be on hand as well as representatives from Spotlight 29 Casino.

To honor our nation's military personnel, Spotlight 29 Casino is giving away gifts as well as offering a FREE Chairman's Breakfast and half off the regular price of the lunch and dinner buffet at Cafe Capitata on Memorial Day, to all active and retired military.

Gifts, which will include items such as Spotlight 29 Mugs and Plates, Flexible Key Boards, Yard Glasses and Laser Garage Pointers, will be offered starting at 9am on Monday, May 31st. *

By showing an active Military or Veterans ID card, military guests will enjoy a FREE Chairman's Breakfast at Cafe Capitata from 7am-11am.  They will also receive a half price lunch buffet from 11am-4pm and a half price dinner buffet from 5pm-10pm.  In the food court, a FREE scoop of ice cream will be given.

Memorial Day also kicks off the exciting promotions running in June at the Casino.  Guests will have a chance to win a 2010 Volkswagen Final Edition New Beetle Convertible.  Every Sunday until July 4th, a key will be drawn at 5, 6, 7 and 8pm with an additional four keys being drawn on July 4th.  The "key ceremony" to win the Beetle will occur on July 4th at 4pm.  

Spotlight 29 is also giving away 16 LCD TVs!  Every Saturday in June, two 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV and two 52" Sharp Aquos LCD TV will be given away.  Drawings will be at 11am, 12, 7 and 8pm.
