Spectra Energy Partners Raises Cash Distribution to 41 Cents Per Unit
1 Cent Per Unit Increase Over Third Quarter 2009 Distribution
HOUSTON, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spectra Energy Partners, LP (NYSE: SEP) announced the board of directors of its general partner declared a quarterly cash distribution to unitholders of $0.41 per unit for the quarter ended December 31, 2009. This represents a 2.5 percent increase over the third quarter 2009 distribution of $0.40 per unit paid on November 13, 2009, and a 13.9 percent increase over the fourth quarter 2008 distribution of $0.36 per unit. The cash distribution is payable on February 12, 2010, to unitholders of record at the close of business on February 2, 2010. This quarterly cash distribution equates to $1.64 per unit on an annual basis.
