Spanish-Speaking Soccer Fans Can Audition to Be the Verizon Reportero for Univision and Cover the 2010 FIFA World Cup Live in South Africa
Univision Viewers in Select Cities Can Audition Live at Various Verizon Wireless and Verizon Plus Store Locations to Become a Member of the Univision Sports Coverage Team
NEW YORK, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon and Univision Television Group are seeking one talented Spanish-speaking soccer enthusiast to become the official Reportero para Verizon and a member of Univision's sports team providing live coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer matches in South Africa.
Interested applicants can audition live or submit a video online via Univision.com (keyword: Reportero Verizon) highlighting their ability to report; knowledge of sports; creativity; overall personality in front of the camera; and why they should be chosen as a Reportero para Verizon for Univision. The winner will be selected based on those criteria.
Beginning Saturday (April 17) and through May 10, Verizon and local Univision stations in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Phoenix, San Diego, Philadelphia, Tampa, Boston and Washington, D.C., will host auditions at locations listed below.
