Source Interlink Companies, Inc. ('Source') Appoints Chris Argentieri as President of Source Interlink Media
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Source Interlink Media, LLC. ("SIM"), one of the largest publishers of magazines and online content for enthusiast audiences, announced today the appointment of Chris Argentieri as President. Argentieri will assume the role as President of SIM effective immediately, reporting directly to Michael L. Sullivan, CEO of Source Interlink Companies, Inc.

The announcement of Argentieri's new position is the latest in a series of moves by the organization that better positions SIM, to continue capitalizing upon its market leading position as a premier Enthusiast Media Company. SIM is home to leading media brands including Motor Trend; Automotive.com; Automobile Magazine, Hot Rod, and IntelliChoice as well as a variety of other properties covering verticals from Action Sports to Home Technology.
In his new role, Argentieri's primary responsibilities will include driving the company's broader strategic agenda of enhancing the relationship between its brands and its audience. Argentieri will also lead the continued development of SIM's digital businesses and work to improve its offering to its customer base by expanding its well developed integrated media platform. Argentieri had been Source Interlink Media's Chief Operating Officer and thus will continue to oversee day-to-day business activities including sales, technology, consumer marketing, brand development and operations.
Prior to joining Source in 2005 Argentieri began his publishing career at Hearst Magazines where he held various operational roles. While at Source he also served as President and Managing Director of Source Interlink International ("SII"), a subsidiary that provides marketing services to customers in more than one hundred countries worldwide. SII flourished during Argentieri's tenure enjoying dramatic growth in terms of both revenue and profitability.

Argentieri will replace Jim Gillis, who will be returning to his corporate role as Chief Operating Officer Source Interlink Companies, Inc. Gillis served as the interim President of SIM and worked closely with Argentieri over the last two years.
