Soliant Health's Bilingual Therapies Division Announces 10th Annual Bilingual Symposium

ATLANTA, May 11 /PRNewswire/ --  Soliant Health, the specialty healthcare staffing division of Adecco Group, today announced that its Bilingual Therapies unit will host its 10th annual symposium for practicing bilingual and monolingual speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 15-17, 2010. This year's conference marks the 10th anniversary of this unique symposium that explores how bilingual and monolingual SLPs can better serve the needs of bilingual children.

The Bilingual Symposium is the only American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) approved CE provider conference of its kind, dedicated to helping speech-language pathologists deal with language diversity in schools. Through this symposium, attendees are able to earn up to 1.0 (10 hours) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) while participating in multiple sessions exploring topics including:

• Measures and methods that can help identify bilingual children with language disorders
• Best practices for ELL/ESL students with language and learning disabilities
• Collaboration techniques for schools with bilingual populations
• Methods of overcoming limited development resources for bilingual children
