Soles4Souls®, the Shoe Charity Announces Partnership With Sportlifestyle Brand PUMA®
Footwear company to collect shoes for charity
WESTFORD, Mass., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Soles4Souls announced today its partnership with PUMA to collect new and gently used shoes at the company's 100 store locations. In addition, PUMA is expanding the program by accepting monetary donations for Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity, in its stores. From mid-June to mid-July, PUMA is encouraging consumers to bring in any pair of gently worn shoes – any brand, any style – for 30% off a new pair of sneakers at PUMA Stores and 15% off at PUMA Outlet Stores. Monetary donations benefiting the charity will be accepted at PUMA Stores in increments of $1, $5, $10, as well as on shop.puma.com.
Soles4Souls, a Nashville, Tennessee based non-profit organization focused on providing free shoes to those in need around the world, is joining forces with PUMA and the general public to help spread the charitable spirit. Together, they will be hosting a giant outdoor PUMA Shoe Toss in selected locations: pitch your shoe donations at three targets to win prizes like PUMA Store gift cards and tote bags. Those with poor aim need not worry, though – everyone takes home something, including that discount coupon for their new pair of PUMAs, just for participating. Cities include Santa Monica, New York, Chicago, and Boston.
