Society for New Communications Research of The Conference Board Announces Annual Award Winners
NEW YORK, May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Society for New Communications Research (SNCR) of The Conference Board (SNCR)—a 501(c)(3) research and education institution dedicated to the advanced study of how new and emerging communications tools and technologies (such as digital, social media, and mobile) are affecting business, media, health, law, culture, and society—announced the winners of the 2016 SNCR Excellence in New Communications Awards at an exclusive cocktail reception and awards ceremony at The Conference Board's New York headquarters on May 18, 2016.
The SNCR Excellence in New Communications Awards program honors individuals and organizations for the exemplary use of digital, mobile and social media. Awards were granted in six divisions: Corporate, Government, Nonprofit/NGO, Media, Technology and Academic, and in seven categories. The top winners include:

In addition to the top award winners, Commendations of Merit and Commendations of Excellence were presented to ten other organizations that submitted case studies in the awards program. In its ten-year history, SNCR has honored over 300 organizations and individuals through this prestigious awards program and all the winning case studies are available to members of The Conference Board at www.conferenceboard.org/sncr.
These prestigious awards honor the work of corporations, governmental organizations, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, media outlets and individuals who are innovating the use of social media, ICT, mobile media, and collaborative technologies in the areas of business, media, and professional communications, including advertising, marketing, public relations, corporate communications, and CRM, as well as entertainment, education, politics, and social initiatives.
