SMRP 2016 Annual Conference Keynote Speakers and Schedule Announced
ATLANTA, Aug. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) is excited to host its 24th Annual Conference from October 17-20, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. The annual conference provides a great opportunity for practitioners, technicians, educators and executives to meet, network and learn from other SMRP members and professionals in maintenance, reliability and physical asset management.
Jim "The Rookie" Morris will give the opening keynote presentation, "Never Give Up on a Dream" to an expected attendee audience of over 1,000 practitioners. Jim was the subject of the hit movie, The Rookie, and is known for his storytelling and ability to captivate and inspire audiences. The closing keynote presentation, "Reliability – Then, Now & Next", will be given by Robert DiStefano, CMRP. Bob brings over 35 years of professional engineering, maintenance, reliability, management and consulting experience.

The 2016 conference will feature 54 track sessions and 24 workshops presented by practitioners from various industries across the globe. There will also be four tours to choose from exploring facilities from key companies within the Jacksonville area.
