Skyview Networks Signs Deal With X-Digital Systems, Inc. to Upgrade Distribution Platform
Skyview announces deployment of XDS Pro receivers across its network of over 400 affiliates
PHOENIX, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyview Networks, an integrated professional sports broadcasting and advertising company specializing in satellite distribution and automation systems, announced today the release of the new X-Digital XDS Pro-1 and Pro-4 satellite receivers to its radio network of over 400 professional sports and news affiliates.
"X-Digital Systems is the clear choice partner to take our company's services to the next level,"
said Ken Thiele, President of Skyview Networks. "I am confident that with X-Digital Systems' technology we are setting new groundwork for our company to continue growing, innovating and providing the industry's leading services."
The XDS Pro receivers allow copy split-spot insertion at the station level and store-forward technology with time-shifting ability. This provides Skyview the technology to air multiple versions of advertisers' campaigns simultaneously. "Advertisers will see true value in the ability to target their campaigns for specific station formats and demographics," said Jeanne-Marie Condo, VP/General Manager of Sales for Skyview. "This is a tremendous sales advantage to our organization and a significant benefit to our advertisers."
The initial rollout of the X-Digital XDS Pro receivers to Skyview's radio affiliate base of more than 400 stations began February 19, 2010. The receivers will provide affiliates with a flexible system that includes program selection, live audio record and playback (time shifting), store and forward media, copy split-spot insertion and accountability.
"We are pleased with Skyview's initiative to remain at the forefront of their industry," said Ian Lerner, President of X-Digital Systems. "The new capabilities of the XDS Pro line of receivers provide Skyview with fully integrated features and a flexible system that will sustain their organization's growth and provide new services for their clients."
The XDS receiver rollout is part of Skyview's overall goal of streamlining its distribution platform and services to provide its affiliate network and advertising clients with the most current and sound technology available.
