Skyscape Brings Johns Hopkins POC-IT® Diabetes Guide to Mobile Network
New mobile product to save clinicians time, reduce errors and improve patient care

Developed by the Johns Hopkins POC-IT Center (point-of-care / Information Technology), the Diabetes Guide is an evidence-based and rigorous peer-reviewed electronic clinical decision support tool that is easily searched and quickly navigated to help health care professionals save time, reduce errors and be more confident in diagnosis and treatment decisions at the point of care. The mobile version of the Diabetes Guide also includes regular content updates that are transferred automatically to the user's mobile device or via easy download and synching.
The Diabetes Guide contains more than 150 comprehensive information modules that cover both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, including diagnosis, treatment and patient education. It was developed at Johns Hopkins under the editorial leadership of Christopher D. Saudek, MD (editor-in-chief and past president of the American Diabetes Association), Rita Rastogi Kalyani, MD, MHS (managing editor) and Fredrick L. Brancati, MD, MHS (editorial advisor). The Diabetes Guide was produced through a grant from the Trinidad and Tobago Health Sciences Initiative, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine International.
