SKF France Deploys SuccessFactors to Streamline Compensation
Compensation Management Delivers Greater Business Alignment with Internal Processes, Clearer Communication with Employees Around Salary Increases for SKF Employees in France
PARIS, March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, SuccessFactors Inc. (Nasdaq: SFSF) announced that global manufacturing specialist, SKF Group, has deployed SuccessFactors Compensation Management to its employees in France. With SuccessFactors, SKF now gains better management insight and executes greater consistency and discipline with internal processes, as well as achieves clearer communication with employees around salary increases. It also provides SKF with a future multi-lingual, multi-currency compensation platform for wider global deployment to the company's additional subsidiaries in more than 100 countries worldwide.
SKF Group is the leading global suppliers of products, solutions and services within rolling bearings, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems. Services include technical support, maintenance services, condition monitoring and training. The company has more than 100 manufacturing sites and sales companies supported by about 15,000 distributor locations. SKF also has a widely used e-business marketplace and an efficient global distribution system.
"We were previously reliant on Excel spreadsheets with up to 200 files being sent to each individual manager. It meant more than 1,000 individual file transfers globally," said Jean Tournoux, HR Director, SKF in France. "The old system was inefficient, time consuming, open to manual error and not as confidential as we would have liked, which is why we moved to SuccessFactors Compensation Management. SuccessFactors is simple, easy-to-use and extremely intuitive. Our senior management has been impressed with its simple yet sophisticated efficiency, especially in terms of ensuring business alignment with our internal processes. And because it is not a standalone system, we can connect with other modules, grow at our own pace and develop the system on an international basis, adding additional languages and currencies over time, when we eventually decide to do so."
SKF is currently running the system in both English and French, using Euros as the main currency, and is evaluating further global deployment to additional countries in the future. SKF is also considering wider adoption of the SuccessFactors Business Execution Software (BizX) Suite, including Performance Management and Succession Management. The company holds considerable data in disparate systems, which could be better leveraged at a departmental and executive level through a robust Performance Management system.
SuccessFactors Vice President EMEA Enterprise Sales, Peter Prestele, added, "SuccessFactors Compensation Management combines the power of Business Alignment with People Performance, enabling companies to better retain top talent and drive organizational performance. We're delighted to be helping SKF gain clearer visibility into individual employee performance around critical compensation planning decisions."
SuccessFactors recently unveiled its cloud-based Business Execution (BizX) Software Suite, which enables companies to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. The BizX Suite empowers the C-level and human resources professionals alike to tie the performance of their people directly to overall business goals and execute more effectively everyday.
