Six Flags St. Louis Announces Interactive Water Ride For 2014
New Addition Will Be First of Its Kind in the Park
EUREKA, Mo., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags St. Louis today announced the addition of an interactive family ride to the park's line up of thrills for 2014. Guests aboard Tsunami Soaker will have a soaking good time as they blast other riders with water while twisting and spinning in a circle. This water ride will be the first of its kind in the park, bringing guests yet another unique experience when they visit the Coaster Capital of Missouri.
Six Flags St. Louis is already the place to go for thrilling roller coasters, but the park is also home to great family rides and in 2014, Tsunami Soaker adds a new twist! This interactive attraction allows riders to spray each other while turning and spinning 'round and 'round. Nine boats, with six passengers each, sit atop a circular floor that lowers into the water until it disappears, allowing the boats to float and rotate. Each passenger is armed with a giant water pistol as they engage in a water battle that will leave everyone, including bystanders, soaking wet!
"While Six Flags St. Louis is thrilled to be the Coaster Capital of Missouri, we are extremely proud of the rides we offer for families to enjoy together," said Dave Roemer, Six Flags St. Louis park president. "In 2014, Tsunami Soaker will take that interactive experience to a new level. In fact, we believe guests of ALL ages are going to love this ride!"
Tsunami Soaker is scheduled to open late spring 2014 and will be located in the Gateway to the West section of the park. For more information about upcoming 2014 Six Flags rides and attractions, including a video highlighting the new rides, visit www.sixflags.com/2014news.
There are still plenty of thrills...and chills...awaiting guests in 2013 with the park's upcoming Fright Fest® celebration. This year guests will have more days and expanded hours to be frightened by the new "Total Darkness" haunted house, Zombie Paintball Apocalypse and expanded "scare zones" throughout the park.
Six Flags St. Louis also announced today that 2014 season passes are now on sale at the lowest price of the year and provide unlimited visits for the rest of the 2013 season (including Fright Fest®) and all of the 2014 season. For a limited time, with the purchase of a season pass four-pack, guests will receive a free upgrade to a gold season pass that includes free admission and free season parking to any Six Flags Theme Park with every pass. Annual Membership Passes, which include all of the great benefits of season passes, are also available at an affordable monthly price. Offer expires October 27, 2013.
