On Monday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. PT in Room 134 at the Moscone Center, Silent Circle will demonstrate its peer-to-peer secure encrypted communications solutions in the RSA Conference's 2013 Innovation Sandbox program. Silent Circle will join nine other finalists in this session showcasing innovative technologies that have the potential to transform the information security industry. A panel of judges will name one finalist the "Most Innovative Company at RSA Conference 2013" at the conclusion of the event.
Silent Circle's CEO and co-founder, Mike Janke, will speak at the RSA Conference on Thursday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. PT in Room 309 at the Moscone Center. During his presentation, "Special Operations Tactics Applied to BYOD Defense," Janke will draw on his security experience and background as a U.S. Navy SEAL to discuss practical and effective defenses against privacy threats targeting mobile devices and personal communications.
"Today, businesses and government organizations around the world face increasingly sophisticated risks to their everyday communications – in the form of corporate espionage, nation-states' eavesdropping or monitoring and other privacy threats," Janke explained. "The RSA Conference is renowned for bringing together luminaries from across the security industry to confront such evolving threats and recognize innovative security technologies. Silent Circle's team is eager to join these conversations and honored to be among this year's Innovation Sandbox finalists."
Throughout the week, members of Silent Circle's all-star management team - which includes PGP inventor Phil Zimmermann, Jon Callas, the creator of Apple's Whole Disk Encryption, former U.S. Navy SEALs and British SAS personnel - will be available for private briefings with prospective customers and partners.
