Sheetz celebrates National Donut Day
Stores will offer free donuts to loyalty card holders
ALTOONA, Pa., June 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Friday June 5th is National Donut Day, and Sheetz will celebrate by offering free donuts to loyalty card holders, at all locations, while supplies last.
National Donut Day is celebrated the first Friday of June each year. It was established in 1938 to pay tribute to the women who, as part of the Salvation Army, served donuts to soldiers during World War I. In 2009, both independent donut shops and large national franchises offered free donuts in the United States.
