Sexiest Party of Kentucky Derby Week Now Taking Applications for Guest List
Fillies and Stallions is the most exclusive of all events leading up to the Run for the Roses
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Jan. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kentucky Derby 143 is 100 days away, and the call for guests has begun for the most sought after Derby Eve ticket. The 8th annual Fillies and Stallions party is an invite-only soiree that, year after year, draws some of the most powerful names in business, entertainment and sports. Media from all over the globe line the red carpet to capture the glitz, glamour, and electricity of a night like no other.
Fillies and Stallions is one of the youngest Derby-centric experiences that began because of a bet. In 2009, friends Steven Marshall of BlackRock Stables and event producer Noah Flom hit a Derby exacta wager and cashed one of the largest payouts in the history of Churchill Downs. The duo wanted to celebrate that night, but realized there was no high-end, late night event on the Derby landscape. So, in 2011, they filled that void with the first Fillies & Stallions party. Now, moguls and models have it on their can't-miss list on the first Friday in May.
